As a volunteer tutor, you’ll provide one-on-one support, empowering learners to build confidence and achieve their goals. No teaching experience is needed—we provide training and resources to help you succeed. Join our team and change lives through literacy!

Volunteer Tutor Roles
English Language Acquistion
Meet with a student one-on-one twice per week for 1.5 hours for at least one year.
Follow the provided Oxford University Press’s Step Forward curriculum to plan and deliver your lessons.
Help adult learners gain the language skills they need for economic and social success!
Citizenship Preparation
Meet with a student one-on-one once per week for 1 hour for about six months.
Utilize the provided resources to help students prepare for their Naturalization Interview.
Help adult students achieve their dream of becoming U.S. citizens, changing their lives and their families’ futures!
